Servant Leaders for Positive Change
Date: 2021
Partner: EU TACSO
Project Overview:
The Servant Leaders for Positive Change was a two-day training in leadership skills. This training was given in Tetovo to 30 workers in the NGO space from around North Macedonia. This was carried out as a part of EU TACSO’s larger mission, which was improving the leadership skills of NGO workers across North Macedonia. The ILPP designed a specific program designed for leaders in civil society organizations within North Macedonia.
Key Activities Included:
Leadership and Advocacy Development: Strengthened the leadership and advocacy capacities of 30 representatives from civil society organizations across North Macedonia.
Critical Thinking and Decision-Making: Helped participants build critical thinking skills, understand decision-making processes, and integrate their experiences into their personal leadership development journey.
Team Leadership Skills: Provided opportunities for participants to practice team leadership through hands-on group activities, encouraging collaborative engagement.
Comprehensive Skill Development: Equipped participants with practical skills and tools for effective leadership, enabling them to apply these learnings in real-world settings.
Leadership Application: Encouraged participants to develop and execute their own projects, contributing to societal change while honing their leadership abilities.
Experience Sharing: Fostered a supportive environment for civil society development, offering a platform for participants to share experiences and lessons learned from different contexts, strengthening the organizational and operational capacity of CSOs.
This training program not only empowered individuals but also created a foundation for a more engaged, collaborative civil society in North Macedonia.
