Formation of the Committee on Equal Opportunities of Men and Women

For the first time, a member representing the civil sector was proposed and voted to join the committee, and that member is Executive Director Pranvera Kasami from the Institute for Leadership and Public Policy. Thanks to the project "Increased Participation of Women in Politics in North Macedonia," supported by the British Embassy in Skopje, we aim to build capacities and strengthen the role of women in politics and decision-making at both the regional and national levels. This milestone reflects a growing recognition of the importance of civil society’s voice in political processes. The involvement of the Institute will bring new perspectives and energy to the committee’s work. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where women’s contributions are valued and promoted.
