Establishment of the Commission on Equal Opportunities for Women and Men - Gostivar Municipality

On January 28, 2022, in the fourth session of the Municipal Council of Gostivar, the Council decided to appoint the Commission for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men. For the first time, a member from the civil sector was elected: a representative from the Institute for Leadership and Public Policy, Pranvera Kasami, Executive Director.

Close cooperation with the Commission for Equal Opportunities within the municipalities is also ensured through the project "Increasing Participation of Women in Politics in North Macedonia", supported by the British Embassy in Skopje.
