Public Debate in Tetovo

On November 29, the Institute for Leadership and Public Policy (ILPP) hosted a public debate as part of the CIVICA Mobilitas-supported project “Empowering Youth: Encouraging Civic Engagement and Entrepreneurship in the Polog Region.”

Professors, school principals, members of the Local Youth Council, and high school students participated in the discussion. The debate aimed to identify the obstacles young people face and to explore the reasons why they choose to stay in or leave their country.

During the debate, findings from the research “Reasons and the Situation Regarding the Migration of Young People from the Polog Region” were presented. Participants had the opportunity to share their opinions, ideas, and recommendations for improving youth engagement and addressing migration challenges.
