The State and Reasons of Youth Migration from the Polog Region: Results of the Research

Within the framework of the project “Empowering Youth: Promoting Civic Engagement and Entrepreneurship in the Polog Region”, supported by CIVICA Mobilitas, the Institute for Leadership and Public Policy conducted research on the causes and status of youth migration in the Polog Region.  The research included orientation interviews with representatives of civil society organizations, as well as a survey questionnaire with young people from all nine municipalities of the Polog Region. Through the research, specific recommendations were made regarding public policies, partisanship and polarization, corruption and the rule of law, education, the business sector, civil society organizations, and health and public services.
