Inspiring Journeys Shared by Leaders at the Next-Gen Career Talks

Students from across the region gathered at the University of Tetovo to hear stories of leadership, innovation, and perseverance from outstanding professionals shaping the future of work.
The Next-Gen Career Talks brought together students, young professionals, and inspiring speakers to share experiences and insights about building successful careers in today’s world. The event encouraged young people to explore opportunities, overcome challenges, and think globally about their future.
Held on October 8 at the University of Tetovo, the event featured three distinguished speakers — Uranik Begu, Nikica Mojsoska-Blazevski, and Norik Selimi — who shared their personal and professional journeys, offering valuable insights and motivation to the next generation.
- Uranik Begu, Director for Central and Eastern Europe at Plug and Play Tech Center, spoke about the importance of innovation, entrepreneurship, and global competitiveness, encouraging youth to think beyond borders and believe in their ability to create change from the Balkans to the world.
- Nikica Mojsoska-Blazevski, Dean and Professor of Economics at the University American College Skopje, reflected on her journey as a woman leader in academia and policy, sharing challenges she faced and emphasizing the power of education, perseverance, and courage in breaking barriers.
- Norik Selimi, founder of Pikasa Analytics and Motivi Group, inspired the audience with his story of transforming local challenges into global opportunities, showing how determination and social responsibility can drive real impact.
The event concluded with an open discussion where students shared reflections and asked questions about building meaningful careers and embracing lifelong learning. The Next-Gen Career Talks served as a space for dialogue, learning, and connection — reminding everyone that success begins with passion, persistence, and purpose.
